Sorry, the pics are not the best..
it is raining, but I couldn't wait..
Decided that it was time to get rid of the 14s on my car,
I'm not that rich, so I couldn't afford fancy 3 piece large diameter wheels, so I stuck with some lower cost 17s..
I like them :D
Now it's on to the suspension

Nice car. The wheels look good. 2-3" lower and that will be very sharp.
Hey - those look really good. Definately lower it a bit.
Very Nice ride.I did a 74 RR for PHR magazine few months back. The 18/20" TT 2's fit the huge fender wells pretty nicely.

That RR looks sweet man, diggin' the wheels. Yeah, a little lower would look even better.
You don't see the 73-74's very often anymore.
My first real car was a 74 RR and I have always had a soft spot in my heart for them. After seeing yours, it makes me want to look for another.
yeah, that body style is really great looking.
looks sweet man!

looks great. It doesn't take high dollar parts to make a good looking car....

The new wheels are a huge improvement over the old ones! Nice job. Like everyone else said, a little lower and it'll look even sweeter!

Thanks guys..
I may try taking one of the smaller springs out of the rear and see how that goes, the front is easy as it's a torsion bar :)
Anyway, here's a few photos now that the sun came out.

wheels look great. Insted of taking small springs out put in a set of lowering blocks, about 1 inch block will lower car not affect the ride randy beep4beep

Lol, not sure why I didn't think of that..
I'm just not sure if the extra leverage because of the blocks will cause spring wrap.. I know it's not advised in trucks, not sure about cars..

Hahaha.. That is one sweet ride!!! The funny part is, if you sold that RR you would have a TON of cash lying around. hahahahah Isn't it funny how that works?

You must be everywhere too in order to know where I am
It lives in the garage with the 6MPG and over $4 per gal lately, but I don't mind the rain, it gets wet when I wash it right? lol

Looks good, nice photoshop too..
I will drop it a bit, the front will be easy as it's a torsion bar front end, the rear I am not sure, I thought about removing one of the smaller leafs, but someone mentioned lowering blocks, but I am worried about the extra leverage on the springs that would create..
Any thoughts from anyone on this?

You could run a set of lowing springs like these:

a two inch drop would look good

Weldcraft can fix the width problem. Order 4 18"s for $550. $300 to widen, bam, nice wheels for under a grand. If I only had a grand.
Looks nice!!!!
