I have picked out a couple compressors, but I really don't know the ins and outs of compressors. I am looking at spending around $500, the only things that I have to have is a 220v setup that is oiled. Here are a couple links to the two that I am looking at right now. Let me know what you think or if you have any other models for me to check out.

I think for that price range they are all pretty close. What would sway me is warranty, replacement parts availability and noise.
Too bad your so far away. I have the northern tool outlet just up the street.Scratch and dents galore. The single stage IR is tagged $349.I took some spy photos this AM.

Dont buy the Lowes brand "Kobalt" air tools or compressors...I bought the $500 dollar compressor and its given me fits several times already and its only 1.5 years old. 220 volt 60 gallong upright. They didnt use "keys" in the keyways and the set screw that was in there loosened up and screwed up the shaft, flipped belts and screwed up stuff in general. Its loud and Its misleading about its horsepower rating....Other than the bigger tank its no better than my little Coleman 3.5 horse portable.... Get the highest CFM rating you can find!!!! A large storage tank is also nice....

I also bought the Kobalt mini-die grinder....Used it once. Junk. Doesnt have any power and it sounds like the air is just blowing right through it.
