basically can it be done?
The wheels I like only come up to 17's, I would like 18's, wondered if it is possible to make them work.

I's guess a company can "redesign" a wheel into 18". What's the wheel look like?

A minilite wheel
Just wondered if you could take a 17 step lip type center and work something with an 18" soft lip hoop.
Just thinking outside of the box...have been waiting for an 18" minilite for 2 years now....

Probably not going to work. 18" soft lip center is about the size of a 19" step lip. So you could put a 17" step lip into a 16" soft lip.

Might want to call Phil Schmidt at PS Engineering in Torrance CA. He makes a 2 piece minilite repop- no idea if he makes an 18, (I asked for 17's) Ordered a set for my front axle last week, need to stand down for a month so I can afford the rears. Damn family thinks they actually need to eat. And the wife wants a second dress

Yeah I tried PS engineering, Team 3 and Vintage wheel works...no 18's, though VWW said they are developing them (but they have said that for nearly 2 years now)
