Just wanted some info and or feedback on there 1" narrowed brake kit with billet hubs for the 67-69 camaro clip. Like how well does it work? What brake rotors are used? Would I have to buy rotors from fatman in case a replacement is needed or are they from some make of chevy i can buy at the auto parts store..?
thanks for any feedback!

I have them on the front of my 1969 nova, same front subframe as a first gen camaro. They work great. Calipers are inexpensive GM metric single piston pieces which I think can be upgraded to SBBC aluminum 2 piston replacement calipers. The rotors are actually pretty beefy. I think they are over 11.25" and come from the rear of a 78-79 Firebird Formula. Things to watch for: Steering arm to wheel clearance if you are using drop spindles or lots of positive wheel offset. Hope this helps.:twothumbs

Thats exactly what i was looking for thanks man! Do you know if the calipers are S10 pickup or something like that? Are you sure on the rotors?

They might be the same as an S10, but I know that 78 & later f-body calipers are the ones used in the kit. The rotors are off a 1979 Firebird Formula 400. Prices for stock replacements are around 40-80 dollars a piece, depending on quality and manufacturer. They sit on an aluminum hub, measure 11.16 inches in diameter and are 1" thick, so says partsamerica.com.

It's for fitting one of these front subs under a street rod. They also make control arms that are more narrowed then stock.

my buddy has a set of the Heidt's narrowed arms, the wheels he wanted to run couldn't be had with enough backspace to clear on the front. He ended up changing direction with the car and never used them... They can use either the stock spindles or the taller drop spindles IIRC. If you are interested in them let me know, we had them posted in the FS section here...

AndrewYeah, like screwing scrub radius even more.
Another fine fatman product.

Ture enough, but if scrub radius is not of paramount concern, i.e. a non-track car or daily driver, this kit does a great job of tucking wheels that could not be had in correct offsets. You will always run into issues and have to make compromises based on what kind of car you want to build.
