I wanted to SELL my Fairlane but not much luck. I am thinking of turning it into a pro-touring car. The drive train is only a few years old so its in perfect running order. I would need to do a better suspension, new paint, new interior, and add sound system. I set the car up to drag race and with 2 kids now I don't have that chance, but I like to go to the local cruise nights.

ANY sugestions on suspention parts would help. Air bags available??
Any color suggesions? I was thinking dark green, blue or black.
Wheels??? I have a set of 17" from my old car that don't look too bad, but they only fit the rear.

TCP, RRS both make stuff for the fairlane/torino and if you want a more stock looking system that is as potent as the others (front anyway) check out www.opentrackerracingproducts.com (http://www.opentrackerracingproducts.com)

I see you already removed the headlights, why not put the teardrop hood on to make it look like a Thunderbolt?

No one makes a tear drop hood for a 1968. No I don't want to buy one of those cheap teardrops and glue it on they don;t look right. I have a mint factory hood with the Cobra scoop I might use.
