I was watching Hot Rod TV this weekend. They did a special on AJ, former Overhaulin eye candy, where Year One built 68 'Bird for her. During the show they kept showing two other 68 'BIrds. One was a convert and they interviewed the owner. The other was a coupe with white Camaro hounds tooth interior and what looked like a 69 Camaro lower valence. Does anyone wkno who this car belongs to or how I might be able to locate him??? I may call/email Year ONe and ask if they can help me locate this owner.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If anyone took pics of this car also that would be nice also. A pic might have the car number on it and I can track the owner down that way.

why the special interest?
Two reasons.
First they used 69 Camaro/Firebird seats but covered them with white 69 Camaro houndstooth covers. But the really cool thing was they had someone stich in the first gen Firebird symbol on the front of the head rests. Wanted to talk to them about the stitching. Probably nothing special that any embroidery shop couldn't do.
Second and main reason is it looked like they used a 69 Camaro lower valance. I have been kicking around this idea for a long time. I'm almost ready to go back to work and wanted a better look at the front of thier car. Also pick their brain on how they did it. The 69 Camaro valance is almost the same shape as the 67 Bird but a little different. Length is the same. But the curves where it meets the fender extensions looks to be a littl different.
I had someome try and photoshop this look but it made the turnsignals in the Camaro valance look too big for the Firebird headlights. But the two quick views you got on the show didn't look too bad.
Hope that explains why I'm looking for this car.

Post #6 shows a front end like you are describing. It is on Lenie's Firebird.
I also have pics/photoshops that I was doing for my car at the time if you want any. Also, there is a pic of an integrated front end for more ideas for you.

Thanks. My work has a ton of sites blocked so I can't see the pics. I'll look at this when I get home.
ps - I Love the hidden headlight look. I thought about doing this also but wasn't sure how to go about it ...
