Ok here is my setup 87 firebird 350, 5speed, comp cams xe262hr cam,1.6rr's,hooker super comp shorties, hooker catback, msd ignition,3.73 gears, stock heads. I am about to put on a edelbrock performer rpm manifold and have a couple of people offering to sell me a carb. Tell me which one u think would work best for my setup 1. edelbrock 600cfm 2. holley 650dp 3.holley 670 street avenger. Also tell me how u think it will run. I also in the near future plan to put a 100-150 shot of nitrous on it. First go around i slapped the victor jr on and 750dp and now it has bogging issues.

My first choice would be a custom tuned Q-jet. If its just these 3 choices, the 670 would be a good street choice, the 650dp a good street/strip choice.

I’d go with the Holley 650 or 750 DP and then send it to Mark Clark in mesa to have him tweak it a bit. I just got mine back and good lord what a difference. He added 4 corner idle and milled the choke tower off and messed with the pumps and metering plates.
