Is there an easy way to align doors with new hinges. I have a 68 Acadian (Nova). I'm putting on new quarters but wanted to line them up with the doors. I figured if I was going to replace the hinges, nows the time to do it so everything aligns easier when it comes time for the final build. Any suggestions?? Thanks in advance.

The easiest way if you have the fenders off you simply close and latch the door. The striker will pretty much hold yhe back in place. Remove one hinge at a time this will allow the door to remain close to the original position. So you will only really need to fine tune the adjustments. If the fenders are still in place remove the hinges at the same time try to place them close as possible to original. Then make one adjustment at a time. If you slightly snug the bolts you will be able to keep the door in place for testing but it will still slide with some force.Start with horizontal and vertical gaps first. After you align the doors to rockers and quarters tighten the bolts on the pillar before adjusting them in and out. otherwise you will likely end up moving the door in all directiions.
