I just found these amazing videos of a build up of a '70 Mach 1 body going onto an '06 Mustang GT chassis. The shop, NW Auto Creations are local to me but I wasn't aware they did this kind of project. The videos are really pretty interesting and detailed. Just thought I'd share them...

Man that is a lot of cutting and reconfiguring going on. Not sure I would want that much going on. Might be best to go the AM frame route. Regardless - interesting build.

Looks like a VERY big job, should be cool when done but I think I would have had to went with a GT500 Chassis.

I think it looks weird with the front fender opening pushed so far back.

Yeah, the same idea as the SN65. I really like that they're doing regular video updates on the progress of the car.

Is the '06 GT chassis that good?
I wouldnt think going thru all that work to swap in a late model chassis that will still need aftermarket parts added to perform well would be worth all the trouble.
I guess theres the fact of saying you did it.

Is the car finished?
No, as best I can tell from the video installments.
