Ok stupid question here. I just had some rotors drilled and slotted. But brain damage has set in here :screwy: Which way do you mount the rotors?? The slotts and holes are drilled at an angle. Do you mount thme with the inside part of the angle leading into the rotation or the outside???

I don't think that matters, but what should matter is the direction of the cooling fins.

Stupier question....why in the world would anybody drill and slot thier own rotors? Set aside the fact that we all know how the drilled rotor thread would end, you do realize how critical it is to have all those holes and slots perfectly symetrical don't you.

Side note, drilled rotors are way more prone to structural cracking than cast holes.

As my autoshop teacher always said "the only stupid question is one you never asked"

from Brembo: "The slots are angled to use the rotors’ direction of rotation to enhance their performance, which makes the rotors side-specific with left and right side rotors"
