1st post. I've been reading for a while and thought I'd register. Seems most of the people here are somewhat sane. I have a 671 blown 69 Z28 clone (Norwood sport coupe with factory installed fold down rear seat and factory 4spd console setup. Originally a 307 or 350 car though) w/M22 and freshly installed front disc setup. 12 bolt w/auburn unit and mono leaf caltrac setup. Would like to pro-tour entire car but too much $ (maybe someday). Just wanted to say hello and introduce myself and the car.

greetings eric and don, I live in ft.collins. I have never registered on a forum before and I have a lot to learn about navigating etc. I'm installing new boyd wheels today. 17" - hope its worth it. finally got the car rolling. about 700 miles on motor so far. I think I should have went big block instead of all the huffer maintenance etc.

Welcome to the site (what's your name? We like names).
Don't let the outer veneer fool you, we're definitely not all sane, but it's a good sort of crazy. Sounds like you're already there too.

Name is Eric. I have made many changes since those pics were taken. Aluminum rad, Ignition changes, 17" Boyd Widows, Cal-tracs, sub-frame conn.... goes on I guess. I drive it a couple times a week and hit a few local shows, kids love it. I drive it very hard as well. About 680 HP now, will be over 700 with changes. No traction whatsoever though. Thanks for the replies, I'll be in contact - would like to find out more about your cars/experiences as ft. collins is pretty dead regarding other enthusiasts.

Have you checked out the "CRUZ-IN" on Friday nights from 6-9pm in Loveland? They meet at one of 2 locations, either 6th Street North to Safeway on Hwy 287 or at the 34 Marketplace strip mall across from WalMart. I talked with a couple of the members at the ColoRODans cruise night at Sonic in Longmont a few weeks ago, nice bunch. According to their flyer you can also get info on Oldies 102.9 KARS or watch the Reporter Herald newspaper.
HTH.
Larry.
