I am in the process if installing mey rear suspension and would like to know what i should do about this problem that i have. in the pic below you will see the two rear leaf pads that go on top of the leaf ( between the rear and leaf) the one with the peak on it. but on my moser 12 bolt it does not a slot fo the peak to sit in. My question is have anyone seen this? i think that i might haft to cut the peak off so that it sits flush with the rear. I will be contacting hotckis tomorrow about this to see if they offer another pad. and another question? why do you remove the sleeve in the lower pad? thanks for any help.

I'm just guessing here... is it possible that they sent two different types of pads because there might be a different application for the other?

That i dont know but shouldnt i have a pad on top and bottom of the leafs? i think that their should be a pad between the leaf and rear end and one between the leak and shock plate. right?.

just got a e-mail from hockis and found out that moser doesnt use that indention on the rear like the stock housing so i had to order more pads from summit that dont have the peak. just FYI for other f-body guys and moser rears. you need to spend more money.

No pads here either, I just welded in a 3/8 plate to the spring perch with a hole drilled to accept the pin/bolt head of the leaf. I ordered my Moser with mono perches. There's alot of info over at team camaro as well.

the pads in the pic are for a second gen camaro .the upper has the peak and the lower has a larger place to go into the lower mount if its a first gen camaro just get the ones for a first gen. they both look like the one for the bottom in the pic but they have a smaller place for the pin in the spring.is your car a first gen or second.the kit in the pic looks like a second gen kit the pads are different and the pins in the center are different

yes you need first gen set of pads or four 2nd gen lower pads you will also notis that the Moser rear will raise the rear by about one inch so you may consider just putting in a lowering block and no pad
