Come by and see us on Hot Rod Power Tour 2008. We recently got our shop truck up and running with the 6L90E and wanted to let everyone know that we’ll be Long Hauling it this year…so come by and see us!

The truck is a 1968 Short/Wide Chevrolet Pickup with our L92 TI HO with VVT (Variable Valve Timing) crate engine that makes 525HP/485TQ. The transmission is a 6L90E 6 speed automatic. Engine and transmission are controlled with our M-90 ECM. As far as we are aware, we are the only engine controls company that is able to control this engine/transmission combination.

Below are some pictures of the truck in front of our facilities and tearing up the pavement.

Here is the data from the engine dyno. This engine package makes for a pretty mean truck with plenty of grunt when you need it. Notice that it makes over 400 ft.-lbs. way down at 2500 RPM thanks to the VVT.

We documented this build and will create a build thread to guide others looking to build a similar vehicle with this engine/transmission package…so stay tuned! Hope to see you guys on Power Tour!

Thanks for all the nice comments guys! We are really enjoying this truck here at the shop. It drives really smooth and the power is flat out mean!

We are going to document fuel milage for each leg of the tour as well as quarter mile times at the track events, so we will soon have some perfomance data for this setup.

We have documented this build and will continue this with a full build description thread following Power Tour.

Definitely looks like something we'd like to be a part of.

Come find us on the Power Tour!
