That's it. 40 seconds to go and we could win the Stanley Cup and Pittsburgh scores the tying goal with an empty net. I just turned the TV off. My heart was racing so fast I thought I was going to have a heart attack. I think I'm done. I just don't find this fun anymore....it's too stressful. The excitement is what's supposed to make it fun but I guess if you don't find it fun anymore and it starts to wear on your psych you should stop watching. So I am. That's it. I won't watch another game of the Playoffs. Even if the Wings somehow pull it out tonight...I won't watch. I don't want my demise to be on a couch late at night with pretzel crumbs all over my shirt.
From now on it's just cars and fishing. LOL!!!!

Yeah, building a car is never frustrating, aggravating, trying, stressful.....
Don't get me started about fishing!

Stupid....just stupid. I feel like a relative just died today. That's what it feels like. I get way too emotionally involved in these games. I need to step away. Good luck to them, I hope they can pull it out. I'll read about it in the paper afterwards if it happens. That's IF it happens.

Geeze Tony - they have two more chances to put it away; it's not like they choked in game 7. Have some faith, think some positive thoughts and maybe, just maybe, the Hockey fairy will bring you a little June cheer tomorrow... or Friday.

Tony your hilarious. Dont worry the Wings will win. If they don't put them away in the next two games then they deserve to lose. The Pens got EVERY bounce last night.
At least they were 35 seconds from winning the cup. My team (Canucks) has only made the cup twice and has lost both times. lol
Pats losing the Superbowl this year was ALMOST as good as the Rams winning in 1999. Go Rams!

This is why I don't watch or "get" sports. No sense in investing your emotions in someone else's actions. Let alone a whole team of people. Your letting them decide your self worth. If they win, you win. If they lose, you lose.
I have never let someone else losing ruin my day. They lost. I didn't.
/but that's just me.

It seems like guys are either jumping and screaming about sports or falling asleep on the couch like me. I'd rather stare at the wall than watch TV mos tof the time.

I quit watching college football about ten years ago for the same reasons. I even walked out of the stadium with less than a minute to go while waiting for the go ahead field goal.
The competitor in me couldn't stand not to be in control of anything.

I'm thinking the C in Cubs is for CENTURY. I'm not a real sports fan and think like TonyL but it sure would make all of the Cubs fans come out of a 100 yr depression. Then again I don't know if they Or I could handle it :lmao:
So cheer up Tony life without sports is alright as long as it's not racing:fingersx:

I just wanna say that I am so glad I had the courage to stick with them and believe in them all along and that all the doubters in here should be ashamed of themselves.
The nerve.
