Shipping wheels/tires - cheapest???

I'm selling my brand new/never used Coddington Osiris wheels and BFG kdw2's and will be needing to ship them I'm sure.

What's reccomended for secure and reasonable shipping. Thanks

I tape cardboard over the face of the wheel and tape the whole thing up with heavy duty contractor bags. I ship all larger heavy items Fedex ground. I always ask for a commercial address. Doing it this way its apox 80.00-100.00 for a set of 4

I second the shipping method above. I've had better luck with UPS than Fed-Ex, but its really just a crapshoot.

Greyhound. I put circular cardboard over both sides and tape with strapping tape.

I don't know about FedEx, but with UPS it's usually cheaper to bundle two of the tires together, so four tires are only two "packages."

Thanks for all the suggestions. I'll definately give GH a thought. I checked UPS and Fedex, and it wasn't as bad as I thought. About $80 for both to CA, which I would think would be the most from here.
