View Full Version : Where to find a good selection of 4" intake pieces?

I need to put together a 4" intake with a couple of bends. I looked at Spectre's pieces, but their 90-degree, for example, is four pieces of straight pipe angle-cut and sectioned back together. I'd rather have stainless than aluminum, and I'd rather have mandrel bent or otherwise smooth-formed than "saw cut and welded to make a curve"
Can anyone point me at a good resource? I'm sure the turbo guys run into this all the time, but surprisingly I didn't find much out there!
Thanks,
DAve

My father used these guys. http://www.heartthrobexhaust.com/ call them and tell them what you need. They custom bent an intake for him. Took a couple days and was very reasonable.

I would prefer polished stainless, but would also be happy with polished aluminum.

Cheapest place I've found for 4" mandrel bends. I got 4 of their aluminum ones and they were good quality, and less than the local guys wanted for steel.

Vibrant Performance makes them in 4" aluminum, nicely polished and reasonable.

I use a lot of product from Woolf Aircraft for fabrication. It does not come polished but can be aluminum, stainless or mild steel. You may want to ask them about polishing the pieces.

Hope this helps.
