Pain Less Harness, Headlight Switch

I have a painless in a 69 camaro. The leads going to the wiper motor are always hot. Three leads going to the wiper motor swithch are all dead? Anybody no if this is correct? New harness . On the same topic I only get headlights on highbeam??????

I have a '68 and I beleive there is a hot wire and the others pull to ground depending on the switch orientation. Not sure about the headlights.

For the headlights, make sure ALL your grounds are attatched. And clean as well.
