That was pretty cool. I missed 1 of 18. Didn't know 348 and 409 had dipsticks on separate sides.

I got 18 out of 18 right! I did have to guess on the 348/409 question. I didn't know the dipsticks were on opposite sides.

14 of 18, missed two easy ones by not paying closer attention, other two I just guessed, didn't have a clue.

A: Correct
Not a Ford 289 (distributor is in back), not a Pontiac (spark plugs are below ex ports), not a Mopar 360 (spark plug location).
77% of the other players got that question right.
You got 18 right out of 18.
Whoa Who!!! Now, what do I win!

They were wrong about the flathead V8 being Ford only. Oakland produced a flat v8 that was used into the early 30's in Pontiacs.
I've seen an original 32 Pontiac with one in it. Weird looking engine, the exhaust and intake ports are on top whereas Ford exhaust came out the block side.

18/18 with a lucky guess on the 348 vs 409

I guess i'm more of a motorhead then i thought, 18 out of 18. I'll have to admit a guess on the 348/409, i reasoned that the blower would be on a 409 and then the three dueces on the 348. 389 pontiac had me thinking also.

5/18...im not too good at identifiying them...i know basic stuff...but i think if i took it again i would do better...I actually learned a decent amount from that!

Better than I expected 16 out of 18. I missed the Chevy 348 and Hemi with outboard carbs. At least they were the more obscure of the bunch. :)

14 of 18 not bad considering angles of engines and other stuff in the way of what your looking for!

17 of 18, the wedge got me...not much of a Mopar guy (though I do respect them).

18 of 18 here. I have worked on every engine listed there multiple times so I did have an advantage there. i even knew the 348-409 difference. was fun though.

Missed the Olds. Heck, I could not even see the engine! But still missed it. Got the 348/409, but that is only 'cause I got one of each! LOL. Well, now 2 348's!

17 out of 18, missed the 409 or 348 question too. I knew that it depended on which side the dipstick was on, I just didn't know which on was on the left side......now I do.:hammer:

15. I goofed and hit small ford instead of small chevy and the early hemi stuff, but I did know my 348/409 dipstick placement.:thankyou:

I got 15 out of 18. The last one fooled me with the tri-power on the small chevy and I screwed up the Olds 455 engine because you couldn't even see the damn thing.
I'm happy.
