The new Caddy CTS interior is widely regarded as the best GM interior ever. It certainly trumps a lot of other makes also for the price IMHO. I think the picture speaks for itself, plus the materials used are high quality for the most part from what I've read. If anyone has even better pics of the CTS or the 2009 CTS-V interior please post 'em.

For comparison, here' some pics of the Maybach 57S interior.

absolutely LOVE every bit of that design from the doors to the dash to the console and vents. just not a big fan of the alum. accent on dash and console.

hope the material quality matches the sweet design! Good job GM!

Its much more interesting than the Maybach IMO. I couldn't find any quality pics of the CTS-V dash yet, which has carbon fiber instead of the brushed aluminum and wood.

09' CTS-V will own :smoke:, it will stomp on the AMG/M cars, had an E55. Its the perfect combo, great interior, manual tranny, and mean looks. Loved the current V. Heres the 09' V interior with auto option:

Surfer, excellent pic, thanks for posting it.

You're right, the CTS-V will be nasty.

A Caddy CTS V just set the record for production sedans on the German Nurburgring at 7:59,32, beating all the BMW M's, Mercedes AMG's and what not. For those of you not familiar with Europes legendary 14 mile track: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/N%C3%BCrburgring This is our mekka where we take our track toys. :worship: Anything under 10 min is considered very good.
This was a showroom car on standard tires.

Cpt, that is good news; that is such a tough track. I took it as a good sign when I read Caddy engineers used that track to develop the suspension. It may be the toughest track of its kind in the world, huh?

The toughest part is remembering all the turns!

Here 's the video from Autoweek "with hot shoe John Heinricy, head of GM's performance division and race-car driver, at the wheel."

So here's my question - who's gonna be the first to stuff this interior in their car? :box2:Can't wait to see that - hopefully it turns out something like the Firebird with the new GTO interior

I plan to put it into this '55 Allkar photoshopped for me with the bodywork changes I wanted.
I probably would use the same 2 tone colors as in the CTS pic just substitute carbon fiber for the wood.
Certainly someone elses ride may get it installed before mine does.
FWIW the dash is a little small for a '55.
So we may have to fab its shape 'stretching' it, but still use all the CTS/CTS-V switchgear and trim.
