5.3 in a 67 f-body

I'm trying to start gathering parts for my next big project, putting a 5.3LSx motor and T56 in a 67 Camaro. I've been reading all of the posts and sitckies, I just thought I would start a thread to keep track of my progress.

I have a LT1/t56 swap into a 95 sonoma under my belt already, so I am aware of some of the hurdles along the way.

I'm just looking to make my car a driver for now, no extreme parts, that can come later when I'm not working with a students budget. But I figure the 5.3 would be a good "mock-up" motor for now, since I want to eventually go all out with an LSX block of some kind.

I've got the motor, and an LS1 intake already that I was planning for another project that got put on hold. I've also got a set of LT1 f-body pedals, would any part of these work?

The LS1 intake will bolt onto the 5.3 fine and work well. If you plan to use the truck accessories bracket, you may have to do some notching on it to clear the TB though. It can be done I know. Not sure on the pedals. I believe a lot of people are using 6 cylinder pedals for the first gens.
