Hey all,
Here's a pic of my BudgetTourer '88 Monte SS. Can someone keep these rims, and do one pic with the spokes in dark gray, and another with black spokes? Just looking for a change, without breaking the bank on another set of rims.

Thanks in advance!

I think I may have read your request wrong, did you want just the spokes, or the entire rim?

Todd, I was hoping for the color change just on the spokes, and keeping the lip silver. Any chance you could do that? You've got my brain runnin' now!! :)

I went a little lighter on the Black wheel. Hopefully it gives you a little more detail.

Thanks Todd, the last pic looks positively evil!!! I think black is the way to go, since the car has black trim. Time to experiment with Duplicolor's wheel paint now!

Steve, youll love that dark charcoal metallic Duplicolor wheel paint. I could go that route instead of trying to acheive a gloss black with a rattle can.

I agree, a dark charcoal is your best bet. If that still isn't dark enough, I would go with a satin black, rather than gloss; as it will be much, much easier to get all four wheels even.

Well Todd, I've been looking up pics of cars that have used the Duplicolor Charcoal, and it's almost spot-on with the color gray you used. Today was too windy, but I'm going to try to work on it this week. I'll just take one wheel off at a time, swap the spare on to keep the car mobile, and prep/paint the wheel off the car at my leisure. It'll take me a few days, but should be worth it. I'll keep you updated, and thanks again for doing the photochops!
