Hello everyone, I have some spare time while i should be studying for finals, so i figured i might as well intrduce our almost finished project! Normally i lurk around reading about others projects, now might be the time to show mine.
Its not a chevy, GM, or even a ford - but a mopar. Its a 1970 Duster that was picked up for $1200 including 360ci. The 360 turned out to be worn out, so were building a 408 for it, with a 4spd overdrive. the stock 7 1/4 was replaced by a dana60. stock wiring was hacked up, so i put in a painless kit.
Other than engine/tranny work 100% has been done at home, me and my dad. Ive got tons of pictures, but heres a few that ill post, Heres how we got it:

Welcome to the board - I don't post much either but sure love to cruise the site! Looks like a pretty sanitary build you've got; any "goal" for the car or ideas for what's next? :twothumbs

Sweet Duster those wheels look killer on there. Where might you have gotten them?

Thanks everyone for your comments! ixfn, the goal is to be done by july, just need to put in the engine, and order new driveshaft, fill up fluids, and it should be done. If you meant whats next after the duster...theres actually a few years worth of projects lined up Next projet: my dad is going to have to rebuild the 68 roadrunner seen in the picture. its starting to bubble up in the rear from sitting outside, a spark plug on the #'s matching 383 keeps fouling up with carbon (engine rebuild) after installing the universal painless kit on the duster, i'll probably be putting one in on the roadrunner, as 40yr old wirings just one big fire. Putting in a posi is also a must. its just meant to be a nice resto/clean up, but we'll see where it leads, its not going to be stock.

shortz, Thats a beautiful Cuda'. im planning on leaving it matt black, im going to be taking it to college eventually, and, though i hope nothing happens to it, it would be cheaper and easier to repaint flat black than a base/clear job.

Blazed67, I got those wheels from Summit, theyre 17x8 front 17x9 rear Cragar "D" windows they were only about 90 dollars each, real heavy though.
