Corvette side mirrors on a 69 Camaro

I'm thinking about putting the side mirrors from either a C5 or a C6 Corvette on my 69 Camaro. Any tricks, pointers, or pictures from people that have done it already?

They look too big to me, but may turn out to be a good choice. I have seen C4 mirrors on a first gen Camaro. Looked good.
