i remember seeing a post for a company that laminates pretty much anything in fake carbon fiber. anyone reember the web site? i was thinking about covering some console parts to hide the wood grain.

this company used like a vacuum sealed and heated laminate. someone posted something about it in the interior section a long while back. just cant remember it.

Also, Exotic Wood Dash can faux CF cover anything.. it looks pretty good too.

I think it was me that posted the pics from VC Finishes.

They use a hydro-illusion process in which a film is desolved into a chemical bath tub and the piece is submerged, therebye covering the piece in the film.

Pretty nice stuff and very cost effective.
