First you wanna get your car on level ground.
: starting with the rear:
Using the existing tires on the car for reference measure the distance from outer wheel house lip, subtract .5".
Next measure distance from inner wheel house,or closest part that wheel may contact. ie wheel house, exhaust pipe, frame etc. subtract .5"
next the front repeat steps above
next turn steering wheel to full left lock record measurments subtrack .25"
repeat for right turn
raise vehicle ,remove rim/tire lay on side then measure actual section width
next measure back spacing of rim, then record back spacing with tire bulge.
now select rim /tire combo you like.
using measurements above and calculating distances needed for optimum tire/rims combination
now install rim/tire combo and pray they don't rub...rubbing upon entering a drive way does not count with 4 of you friends don't count.
you can do all the above or go see the pro-touring wheel /tire chart for best tire/rim combo...I hope that is what you were looking for???
