I have the opportunity to buy a 67 that has suspension, brakes, bodywork, and paint completed. The guy was planning on dropping a 383 in it, but has an ls6 crate and 4l60 to go with the car. The motor has the fi, but none of the accessories. What all will be needed to put this engine into the car?

motor plates/mounts
swap headers
can i use stock accessory/belt set up?
modify or new gas tank
driveshaft
computer

What else would i need. I am new to this and just looking for some info/advice.

modified Wiring harness, speartech would be optimal choice for that. Hi pressure fuel pump like Aeromotive A10001 w return line.

Yes you can use stock accessories except the AC compressor. You'll also need a swap oil pan (or you can modify the stocker)

Read this thread, there is alot of good info: http://www.ls1tech.com/forums/showthread.php?t=472609

There is a lot on LSx swap info around here if you use the "search" function. All the parts needed for these swaps are available now requiring no fabrication. Dropping that motor into that car will be no harder than installing a 383. Getting it running right will take a little more work and $$$, but it is well worth it.

yeah there is almost too much info. didn't find a thread that just said bare minimum you need these parts, but it looks like I figured out almost everything. And after seeing the responses I was like that's right i remember i need that

motor plates/mounts
swap headers
stock accessory/belt set up
modify or new gas tank
driveshaft
computer
modified harness
swap oil pan
high pressure pump w/return line

So is this bare minimum needed for swap?
Also, I know there are wildly different prices for these components. Any idea of a neighborhood of what all these pieces would cost?
