Hello everyone, I guess I should introduce myself first! My name is Cory and I am a GBody man! We actually specialize in building Turbo Regals, and I am starting a huge project on my personal GN. Ive been a member of turbobuick.com and ls1tech forever, but have just started growing a curiosity for pro-touring. Ive been lurking here since January trying to absorb as much information as possible and have learned a lot and have already forgotten even more.

Anyhow, I am starting my personal project that will probably take years to complete, but I am looking for help on my suspension. The rear is going to be tackled first and its going to be a completely custom, 3 link setup. The width of the wheels is going to require me to change everything around, so I am starting from stratch and am looking for some good reading on rear suspension theory and geometry. Anti squat, roll center, COG, arm lengths, everything and how they are interrelated.

I know what Im getting into, and I couldnt be more excited to do everything custom! Ive done some searches on here for more info, but I am ready to go ahead and purchase some good literature to keep on the shelf for later too! Any help or recommendations would be awesome! TIA

I actually already have that one! Ive had it for a couple of years and love it. However, it doesnt really get into the specifics that I am looking for on suspension setups... Its more of a general overview...

I know for a sound background in theory and practice:

How to Make Your Car Handle by Fred Puhn is pretty good, David Pozzi recommended it and I bought it. It is definitely one of those books that is a must have in your collection.

Thanks everyone for the reviews. :)

If you really want to get into suspension systems...Here's one that's a real snooze-fest for the non-engineering types, but the suspension bible for true engineers like Kyle Tucker of DSE and the like.
