Well I cant decide which mounts I want to buy. I remember seeing some somewhere for like 40$ but I cant remember where. Too many choices here: ATS, S&P, BRP, Autokraft, Hooker, etc.

What mounts are you guys running in your 1st gen camaros? I dont really want to spend an arm and leg but dont want something crappy. Thanks!

I have a set of S&P Natural Finish mounts that I used for mock up. I'll sell them for $50.00 plus shipping if you're interested.

ATS. They're so nice I wanted to hang them on the wall. Wife said no and hung a picture of the kids instead. Damn kids.:banghead:

ats, autokraft and s&p are all the same. the s&p mount upside down from the other two, but all three can be flipped/turned/spun to match each other. i just picked up the autokraft mounts and pan and got a good deal on the package. you need to take into account which ones come with mounts when comparing price. the autokraft do, and the other two dont.

i just got the same pan and motor mount combo from autokraft,am really happy with them.one consideration would be your header choice, that may or may not have some influence on your decesion.

Headers determine your choice. to some extent steering, oil pan and shifter location. Do you want your engine to sit on the rad, firewall, or in the middle. Are you running a rack or steering box. I bought 3 sets of plates and short and tall frame mounts and short and tall motor mounts. They all work. It just depends on wich combo works for you.

I bought some S&P plates. For frame mounts Im using the factory small block ones (i think those are the ones i need)

can anyone tell me what combination of motor mounting brackets and chassis mounting brackets I can use to put an ls1 into a 1964 impala?

i am using hooker headers and hooker mounts.
the headers are the biggest cost and concern, so figure out which headers you can afford and then buy the matching mounts.

I used the CarShop mounts. They worked perfect.

hey have have conversion kits made just for the 58-64 B-Body impala that uses the 98-02 F-Body acc and oil pan with hedders on the way. Let me know if you need any info about the kit.

Thanks
