Welcome. Got any description of a car you're working on? What do you think of the site?

The hood doesn't look too bad. Is it? I'd recommend looking for the shaker hood scoop. I've always loved those things on the 'Birds.

It's great what you're doing for your son. My dad did the same with me when I was 13. He found a beat up '68 mustang coupe and got it for me. He said I could have it under one condition. Which was that I would get a job and save up money to fix it up, and that I would learn how to work on it. That is exactly what I did, and I made sure it was ready to roll when I turned 16. I learned a lot about work ethic, saving money, and working on cars a the same time. I plan on doing the same with my future kids one day. Maybe by then we can find a beat up 08 Shelby GT500 to work on :D.

I think it's awesome what you and your son are doing.:worship: A 2nd gen T/A is a perfect project car. I'm looking forward to seeing some progress pics.

I just turned 14 about 7 weeks ago. Both me and my brother are saving money to fix our cars. He has a 67 mustang. We are buying parts here and there for them. My dad is going to be a big help because when we put money to our cars he matches what we put in plus he has an automotive shop that he owns. he has been working on cars since he was about my age.
