Saw the 1st 2 shows of the season as I had taped them and I think they finally got it right. No drama, no stupid fake stealing, just a simple build for someone who deserved it.
More Foose design and build shots. What I do not understand is why TLC refuses to advertise that it is even on?? They promote American Chopper but do not even mention Overhaulin. Not sure how anybody can even watch that mess anymore.

i assumed it was cancelled last year till i seen Foose in July and he said they were about to start filming the next season...if i hadnt heard it from his mouth I would assumed it was off the air. So all i knew was it aired in Spring...i just kept searchin the web till i found the date and marked it on the Calender! ...never missed a season yet!
by the way it airs every Thursday night on TLC

well in Canada they air every Thursday at 7pm and again at 12 CENTRAL time on TLC (the learning channel)..they have aired 2 episodes so far a 65 Mustang and a old Chevy pickup...this week they are doing 1963 Chevy NOVA..which should be a awesome show!
My DVR records it at midnight thursday night friday morning. It may be on before that and interferes with another recording I don't know I haven't looked. It is still on TLC though.

Yeah I think the format had to change since it was getting played out, but no more pretty ladies to host?

It's on thursdays at 7pm and 11pm mountain time. I think there is more time to plug for sponsors and show the actual build with the new format. I do miss A.J. though..........

You can have TLC remind you via email when the show is on that you want to watch.

I'm loving the new format. Like mentioned above It appears to add more TV time to the actual build. Not as much drama. Thanks Scott for the schedule.

Have to agree the new format is better, more air time for the build and its details. Shows alot more of the problems encountered when trying to build a car in seven days.

Haven't seen a new format show yet. Hopefully there is no fake drama edited in like on AHR. If it really is the build without gimmicks, it seems like TLC listened in on what we all have been saying and are trying to do it right.

I recently saw one of the new episodes. As a car guy, I think the new format is much better - lots more focus on the build instead of pranks and antics. However, I don't think it will appeal to the masses as much as the old format did.

Hey fellas...
Got a buddy that was a builder on the show. The long hiatus last season was because they switched production companies, hence the new direction/format. Unfortunately, they didn't get a chance to prove themselves, as the show was "officially" cancelled halfway thru the filming of the season that's airing now. This also probably explains why TLC/Discovery is putting zero dollars into the advertising budget for the show.
I really don't understand how the television industry works. lol

I only watched part of one I caught by accident while surfing. I thought the show was a little stiff. Granted it was better than the old pranks and stuff, but something was missing. Even Foose didn't look like he was enjoying it.
Maybe it's just run it's course.
Since Boyd is gone they should get Dwayne from American Hotrod to do his own show. NOT!

Well that just sucks if it's true. Good think I said F-cable a year ago. :wedgie: I realized that I never watch TV now that I'm working on the ride. :woot:
Overhaulin' was my fave. I had a buddy who volunteered to work on the show - he does awesome upholstery work.

Maybe the new prod comp will look for a new deal elsewhere, like speed. How many times as hot rod tv moved? lol
AJ is very easy on the eyes.
