hi everybody. i've been oh here a while but i've been working as a contractor in iraq and can't work on my projects so i haven't bothered post anything. but when i leave i should have plenty of time and money to work on them for a while. i'm a certified automotive tech, i took the automotive course with the chassis fab course at wyotech. i have:
67 firebird i plan to mini tub, add bigger wheels/ brakes, mild suspension upgrades. i plan to stroke a 400 pontiac block add kauffman racing heads, fuel injection and a t56. i also have a 9" i will shorten and install

79 tata, not worth restoring to original so it will be a long term project i will practice some fab on. it will probably get the 455 that is currently in the 67. i would like to make a front sub and a 4 link, maybe a roll bar..might as well put that wyotech education to use haha

89 gta, 350 t-tops, black w/black leather (hard to find) i have an ls1/t56 i may put in this car

90 awd talon, not really the type of car you see on here but i dig the potential, it was cheep and i'll probably just fix it and give it to my brothers to play with

took some more pics while home on leave last month. also i had my dad pick up a new project for me last week. 69 custom s, no good pics yet.

you can see the 67 was hit in the rear before i bought it, and the ls1 is there behind it. not sure what i'm going to put it in now

all good stuff man. I would recommend going more on the suspension upgrades though. they will make you braver when the accelerator is down.

yeah i'm not too sure what i'll do just yet. i was thinking hotchis tvs, del-alum bushings and guldrand mod if i go on the cheap side. but we all know how easy it is to get carried away so i may end up with an aftermaket sub and 4 link, and eating out of dumpster to pay for it all lol

here's a couple of the 69 custom s. i just bought it off craigs list in boise. dig the bench seat and the under dash ac. the lady who had it was pretty awesome, she sent me a bunch of pics. it has some dents and some typical rust in the quarters, but it's a good project. the circled parts on the side view are where she was showing that it has some bondo. i paid her $1700 and the only other offer she got was $600, i can't believe no one else was willing to pay more, but that's good for me. this and the 79 will be long term projects to keep me busy over the years. first order of business when i get home is to fix the 89. it's bottom end started making a little noise when i was home on leave so if i can't get away with new bearings i'll probably stroke it in preparation for future mods. so i'll get it running so i can drive it while i build the 67. i plan to devote as much time as possible to it when i get home so that i can make it what it deserves to be finally, after 10 years of owning it.
