Anyone have any ideas? Plans? Where I can rent one? My pop's b day is in a couple weeks and I want to get a guy that we know (VERY flambouant!) to jump out of it! LOL! Should be pretty memorable!:bananna2:
Ideas?
Thanks

BTW-I'm not Martha Stewart with crafts!:drive2:

A city of 250,000 and we only have 2 party rental places! One is small and the other is about 50 years old! I have called everywhere locally and found nothing. I called a theatrical supply and they don't have one and could not make one in time either.
Any other ideas?

Just make one. Get some round cement forms at the hardware store, make some donut lids to terrace them up and cover the whole thing in frosting.

Piece of cake to make. HA!

Agreed...it'll be even cooler when you tell him that you made it.

Donut lids? What is that?
But that is a pretty good idea! I do like the forms, had not thought of that. But that is why I asked you guys! Any other input?

You might try a couple of the party places in KC or STL. It would be a drive to pick it up but they might be able to point you in the right direction.

Have you tried any novelty/joke stores? If they don't have them, they should have an idea where to get them. If they're good at their job, that is...

Thanks guys! I was going to try the sonatube idea, but I could only get them in 12' lengths in that diamater. And I was not about to spend that much $ on that! LOL! So, I made it out of 2" EPS insulation (since I am a commercial roofer and had it!), spray foamed it together along with 6" screws to help, took drywall mud and mixed in a little bit of yellow paint to the consistancy of icing and "iced" it with a trowel and did the red "ribbons" with more spray foam on the floor and painted it and caulked it on the side. I am pretty proud of myself for that! Just call me Martha freakin' Stewart! LOL!

So let see the pics, preferrably without the dude jumping out of it.
