I'm going the PT way with my '68 Camaro base model. Parts/ideas list goes like this:

Holley StealthRam MPFI (acquired last week!!!)
T56 from an LS1 (still looking for one)
HotRodsFromHell Truck Arm Rear Susp
Vintage Air A/C
18's in the back, 17's in the front (something black w/ polished/machined lip)
13" C4 braking in the front (last year's project)
Custom discs in the back (last year's project)
No engine plans for the near future, running the original 327

hey welcome ..looks like a very nice platform to start with..keep an eye on classifieds here or at ls1tech.com should be able to find a t-56..you say no enginge plans ..just wait till you hang in here a while ..youll be messing with it..lol.
