DC control has a fan for sale. They state that it able to move 3800 cfm at 14.4 Volts. There is no phone # to contact them, so my Question is what would the cfm be at 12volts? http://www.dccontrol.com/

14 volts is usually what your alternators put out when running, thats why they say that, i would assume

That statement seems a little odd: 3800 cfm @ 14.4 volts? I mean, the controller kits are designed to be wired to the battery-not the alternator, and the battery never sees that much voltage-usually about 12.4 or so max, and the alternator in top shape is around 14.4 at the post. If the fan is the T-bird one, then it's not nearly as powerfull as the Mark VIII fan. I bet if you were to wire that fan directly off a +12V feed from the main charge post of the alternator (or through a relay), it might see 14.4 volts or close to it.....but then that defeats the purpose of the DC Controller. -Jabin

the DC control fans are Taurus 3.8L fans for the smaller one and Mark VIII fans for the bigger one. Just order there fan controller kit and pick up a used fan at a wrecking yard. I installed a Taurus fan with there FK-35 kit on my old 83' F250 Diesel just to see how well it worked, was enough to keep it cool in traffic pulling an 8000lb trailer! I really like there fan controller, no need to upgrade the alternator since most of the time its drawing less than 5 amps to keep your engine cool.
