lake havasu city az ???? anyone

packin my stuff soon to make my move but im gonna fly out in july to check the scene first ...any locals here ? looking to meet up with some poeple there and maybe point me around a little . id like to also see about a job out there in the hi performace boat industry or muscle car/hotrod shop ...

been there a few times and like it alot but its been a few years since ive been there > im sick of jersey since we have such a short boating /car season . what does hot sob mean?

Hot yes, but the lake and river are right there to cool you off. It's a party town, but also a horsepower town. Everything with an engine is tweaked. Cars, boats, motorcycles, off-road. I own land there. Some day I'll make the move.

Simply stating why not a city like Las Vegas with more opportunity unless you are indenpendently wealthy. I have been to Havasu during the week...it's a snooze fest everywhere you go. I do like the town and river. It's definitley a toy town. You asked for opinions and I have spent about a month of my life there. Good luck

vegas , i do appreciate your comments im just being funny > my mother in fact is gonna look for a house in that county as well and we are looking to be there in july (hottest part of summer) ahhhh .. to look in havasu and bordering areas and we can deside where to start looking more precisly . im gonna take my hotrod skills to the west and hopefully apply them there .

I don't know about hot rod/car shops, but there's a lot of boat businesses in Havasu. Maybe take a look at the performanceboats.com forums and make a posting or two. There's a lot of good people there, plus a number of Havasu boat shops have a presence in one form or another on those forums. Good luck with your future.
