Hey guys,
I just recently decided to go for an LS2 and I am trying to figure out the tranny. I already have a 200r4 that I believe is all mechanical ( from 86 Monte SS) and I know it will bolt right up, and I can run a standalone ECU for the engine management. I searched, and found a TV cable bracket from BTO to work with the LS, that I can run a 200r4 converter, and I need a high pressure switch for the converter lockup. Does this all make sense? Should I just go for the 4L60E?

TIA,
Scott

What chassis is it in? If your car came with a Th350, the Th2004R is an easier swap. The crossmember might need some mods, but the driveshaft length is the same. Either can be built strong, but the 4L60E does have the advantage of not needing the TV cable.

Sorry, this is going into a 67 chevelle. 200r4 is already in the car mocked up with the 400 sb, I'm just trying to nail down the mods needed to make it work with an LS motor. I probably just need to buy an engine and start trying to get everything to work. :hand:
