do wheels need to have less backspacing then stock if I have wilwoods on my car? Ive heard that baers add .5 inch track width front and rear to cars.

The Baers on my car only added about an 1/8 inch per side, maybe 3/16. The caliper clearance is the problem, more so with 4, and 6 piston calipers.

Front kits will vary by application as Wilwood has several different hubs that it uses for it's various kits. Some don't change track width at all, while others change it as much as 5/8" from what I've seen. The hub and the caliper mounting brackets should be designed to work together given a specific rotor/caliper combination.

Rear kits are pretty basic as they will only change the track width by the difference in the thickness of the drum to the rotor assuming the axle and housing stay the same. Typical track width changes for the rear vary from 1/16" to 3/16" per side depending on what you started with and what you converted to.
