18x9s for my '71 bird today!

Finally got my wheels and tires on the bird this weekend. 18x9 with 5.25" back spacing (+7.4mm offset) Foose Legend wheels with 255/45/18 Toyo Proxes ST tires.

I'm pleased with the results....

Yep 18x9 5.25 b.s. front and back with good clearance. The 18" wheel allows for a wider wheeel in the front (goes around upper A-arm). The 5.25" bs on a 9" wheel actually has the same offset as a 4.75" bs on 8" wheel (7mm).

Ordered wheels from www.rimzoneonline.com, they were delivered in 6 days. Had one wheel with ripples in the chrome and they replaced it without a hassle at all. I'd recommend Rimzone to anyone. Les schwab installed the tires yesterday.

I had looked at wheels for over a year and finally decided on these when they came out the first of the year. I did a lot of measuring to make sure they'd fit right.
