I installed a Auto meter Electronic speedo and need to find the correct speed sender for a 700 r4?..My old cable unit would leak through the cable so I want to eleminate it. I know I need an OE style Sine wave sender but I went to 3 local parts stores and they dont know what I am talking about.

I'm not sure if this would work on the Autometer but for my Stewart Warner electronic speedo it works (probably would if the signals are the same), maybe Autometer has something similar:

Hall effect sensor:

Here's a link to the Autometer part.

I'm using one of these on my 200-4R to my Autometer electronic speedo.

looks like you found the part you need- a VSS for an early 90's Caprice.
my 92 Caprice 9C1 had that part- you just put a regular 700r4 gear on it.
