Has anyone seen a source for replacements? The factory does not sell separate from the back plates last time I checked. These are crumbled and deteriorating on every LS1 car I have ever worked on.

Ditto - I even checked 'vette suppliers and cross-checked against the Blazer applications, all of which use the same boot. Interestingly, you can buy kits that include every clip and the barrell adjuster but not the boot?

I just checked this with a friend at the local Chevy dealer and you still can't get them seperate. Lame.

This is the same for my 95 impala ss, you would think they would sell them seperately by now.

Try PBR directly. somehow
they are aussie made brakes so they should have the parts..

I think there are only a few people there. Just ask about the F-body e brake boots when you call. I can't remember the guys name its in my notes at home.

The first time I called I waited on the line to talk to someone and finally gave up a left a message. The guy called me back in 15 min and said he is having them made and will call me as soon as they come in. I was thinking yea right I will hold my breath. Well less than 2 weeks later he called me to get a credit card so he can ship mine.
Great customer service!!

I managed to get PBR to send me a pair (indirectly) via one of their distributors - but they're a little too small. I'll try rms - thanks!

Your PBR ones were not a little too small? I'd need to fab a new hold down bracket for them to work..

They seem a little too small but they aren't. If I remember correctly you have to stretch them over the caliper and then put the hold down on. They fit very tightly but do work. It's been awhile since I installed my rear brakes so I don't exactly remember the sequence of installing them.
