'69 camaro quarter on '69 firebird

i like the look of the grills on the camaro rear quarter panel.if i put the camaro quarters on my firebird,do you think it would be overkill since the firebird has the grill look on the front fenders?or do you think it would look good?is it possible to make the grills on the camaro quarter functional to use as a brake duct?

I think you will be hated and rediculed by every Pontiac person and the value of the car will go in the toilet.

I'm not trying to be mean, but from prior knowledge there's a number of people that have either partially or fully built their Firebird bodies into Camaros and that is the net effect. Your car, do what you want, but take that into consideration of whether those facts are important to you.

The funny thing is he is right. You could modify a Camaro into a friggin' helicopter and you'd be considered a visionary. Mess with a Firebird, those Pontiac enthusiasts will crucify you! As a Firebird owner myself I don't get it. My advice, build the car the way YOU envision it. The beautiful thing is you can always change your mind later...at a cost! Enjoy YOUR car.

Well I'm not so sure if it's a modified thing as much as a rivarly thing. How many people would feel good if you made a Camaro to look like a Firebird? Then again, you don't see too many Firebird helicopters either. LOL.

i was just thinking that the 67-68 firebird had the grills on the rear quarter and the camaros didn't.i'm interested to see i a picture of what it looks like.
my first thought was to do something aftermarket.have it look something like the c5 z06.and have it vent into the rear wheel tub.
