04-11-2008, 07:50 AM
Due to requests, we're going to do another group purchase. We'll start it today and go thru May 11. It took some real convincing to have my bosses do it, but they finally agreed. Let me know what style you're interested in, sizes you want, and if you want powdercoated centers. The group purchase will apply to both our two piece and three piece wheels.

I hear ya, wheels are never an easy choice. Maybe the tool on our website that allows you to try different wheels on different cars could help you out.

Thanks. It depends on which car I get if everything goes as planned. I am thinking either Matrix or Ram 5's.
If I get the Nova: 17x7 and 18x8.
If I get the Belair: 18x7 and 20x8.5.
Those are just a rough guess, because I may minitub or airbar the car also. Thanks, Steve.

Ok, the fitment guide didn't work. I'm looking for some 17x8 4.75BS for the front and 17x11 5.00BS in back. Do you go wider than 10"?
I'm interested in a ALL satin black rim. (not just the center)
Styles Magnum, Emotion or Mulholland. Maybe a Retro. Do you have weights?

I can do a 17x11, but it will be in a stepped lip rim. If you want the rolled lip rim then the widest I can do in a 2 piece wheel is a 10.

I'll send you a PM wish pricing.

What I need help with is what rim tire combo to go with..I would like a set of 20x15 in the rear with a 18 or 19x8 up front?

The front end is out of a 87 vette and the rear is a ford 9inch narrowed.

If I can get some measurements for you please let me know..

I sent you a PM with some pricing info on either a 18 or 19 by 8 on the front and the 20x15's on the back.

Personally for that year of Ford truck I'd look at some of the wheels in our XLR series. That's my thoughts though...it all depends what type of style you're going for.

I can definitely work with you and we can get the backspace information figured out. As far as the big brakes, we can clear a C6 Z06 brake with our 18's so I'd imagine we can clear whatever brakes you want to put on it. I'll need to know exactly which kit you plan on going with though. Take a look at my PM and then we can get things set up for you.

I sent the price quote to you. I was as gentle as I could be. It takes 4-5 weeks to build the wheels from the time you order them. I'm taking and receiving orders already. Whenever you're ready to place the order just let me know. We charge about 50% at the time of the order and the rest when the wheels ship.

We talked about radicalis in 18x8 and 12's the other day which is what my dad really wants but he would rather something bigger than a 30 series tire on the rear 335's. Anyone have any ideas? He doesnt seem to think its enough side wall and may want to go to 17's bc of it even though we agree 18's look better. Help please, so we can make things happen here. Anyone?

19x9.5 Front and 19x11 Rear to fit a 01 Camaro, GT Sport style, polished centers

PM sent with pricing. Standard widths for a 19" wheel are 8 and 10 inches wide. All other widths must be custom made for a two piece wheel. We can also go to a three piece wheel and get other widths which adds about $1000 to the price of the wheels.

Dustin,

Could you please post a chart of all the available sizes for the 2-piece ID series wheels. I looked on your website and could'nt find one. I have not firmly decided on the wheel diameters I want.

Dustin,

We talked last week about some wheels for the group purchase and I am just now getting back to you. When I talked to Dave at Intro he recommended 275/40/18 rear and 245/40/18 front tires. However, I want a little different size tire if we can do it without rubbing issues. Below are my car info and the wheels and tires I would like quoted:

· Car: 1970 Firebird Formula 400 – will be lowered about 1.5 inches from stock with GT Suspension kit from www.pro-touringf-body.com (http://www.pro-touringf-body.com/)
· Tire size: 255/40/18 front and 295/35/18 rear.
· Rims: 18x8 front, 18x10 rears – Speedstar.
· Please quote as rims only and with a set of Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3 mounted & balanced (my ship to address is zip code 30005).

I want to talk about powder coating options. Can the inner spoke area that is usually done in satin suede be done in any other color? If yes, how do we communicate the color? Do you have any photos of speedstars with the inner spokes in a different color? What about pictures with the entire spoke area powder coated?

Thanks,

Boesch

:crying: I just joined and looked at this thread today. How often do you run this special? I am looking at a set of 19x9.5 Rear and 18x8 front. Can you let me know what the GP price was (or still can be) for a set in the G-cube style? I have my '69 posted in the newbies section
Thanks,
Jeff

This is only the second time ever that Intro has done a group purchase. The last time was about a year ago. I've sent you a PM.

Sure, have a group purchase... after i purchased mine!!!!!

Well at least mine are on the car and looking good. If it weren't for the wheels my car would look like crap. No one sees the beauty beneath the surface rust and fade. If only people looked at the motor and suspension/brakes, hmmmm.

Good luck to everyone else.
