spray painting a dash and inseting a guage cluster from another car?

I think I read in one of the threads that someone spray painted thier dash pannel with duplicolor? My dash pannel needs a face lift BAD! Anyways if I can do it let me know. Also I seen a some one somewhere take a gauge cluster out of a junkyard and put in they car. it actually looked pretty good. Any know anything about that?

It wasn't my thread, but I did use the Dupli-Color dye on my dash. It came out good, but it WILL scratch off fairly easily.
