I have my car stripped to this point. Should I do the media blasting and epoxy sealer first, or should I do rust repair and sheetmetal? Can the sheetmetal work be done on a body cart, or does it have to be a roller. The front subframe and rear suspension in the pictures will be replaced.

You could fix the sheetmetal that you can see is rusted, but the more paint that is taken off, the more issues that will be found. Blast it first, then you know what you have to work with.

I agree with barno68

After you get it blasted, you will most likely discover some damage/rot that you did not know you had.

After you get it blasted, try to shop vac every nook and cranny to get the blasting media out. I would recommend a shop vac and compressed air. Shop vac everything you can and then hit all the corners and crevices with compressed air and then shop vac it again. Keep repeating until it's clean. You don't want the blasting media left behind to get caught between the primer and bare metal. After that prep the bare surface ASAP and prime. Make your sheet metal repairs and then seal the body.

What media is the shop going to use to blast the car?

My car was done half and half.

New full floor put in, then trunk cut out.. car mounted on rotissorie and taken to blaster...

Found a bunch of holes in window channels, roof, etc.

They used Garnet. It looked like pink sand. Be prepared to Vaccuum your car for 4 hours when they are done.

You might want to remove the PS pump, gear box too. Definitely remove the master cylinder and booster so they have a clean shot at the firewall. The vin tag is aluminum (softer metal), so it will need to get masked off before blasting. Good Luck!

I'm gonna pull the steering components and master cylinder right before it goes to the blaster. It's just easier if I have to move it around for now.

Here is what I did I didn't have the plaster do the main body pannels and such just the rusted areas and floors so I knew what I had to work with my plan is to have the hole car blasted once all the metel work is done.
