He traded the Thrasher back to Mark for the Malitude. He does seem to get first shot at Mark's cars! Of course being friends with him for years helps a bit.

You'd think Mark was Charlie's personal coach builder............ :camaro:

not that there's anything wrong with that..... I wish he was mine too!

im sure that one day the collectiblity of those cars will make them great investments.

I'm not sure about the investment part but they are fun to drive.

It's comforting to know that they get used as Mark meant them to. Nothing like turning the beast loose!

c'mon charley. It's never occured to you that those cars are going to develop into classic tuner cars?

Its like a car built by barris or or a bike by indian larry, a master of the craft. Bound to be collectible in a niche crowd.

Wonder if Mark has plans to "improve" the Thrasher in any way?? That has to be my overall favorite of the cars he has built, mainly because a car of that level is more obtainable for me than say one like the Mule or Red Witch.

I'm really surprised that Mark parted with it. The last time I spoke with him he seemed pretty adament that he was going to hold on to this one and compete in some road events with it. Interesting...I wonder what his plans are for The Thrasher. Or maybe he just happened to like that one enough to want it back.

Both cars will be on Tour this year; Mark will be driving the Malitude.

I'm planning on the Mule for Power Tour and Mark is planning on the Malitude but he has now found out he will be in Germany running the Nurburgring in May and I think again in June so Power Tour he might have to skip. He is building another engine for the Thrasher with aluminum block to lighten up the front but waiting to see the power level. He wants to do some track events with the Thrasher. The red witch is also ripped apart. Too many irons in the fire.

Charley, do you know the dates when Mark will be there? I have plans to go there myself with my car. Would be nice to be there at the same time.
