Hi Pro-Touring team.
I just noticed a message informing me that I had never posted...so it is about time I introduced myself and gave something back to the Forum Community which has been so informative and inspirational through many hours as an observer..reading and learning.
I became interested in replacing the BBC in my Camaro with an LSX after reading the Bad Penny stories in PHR, Super Chevy and on here and LS1Tech, and many other examples of LSX's in early Camaros.
It quickly evolved to doing something different like putting an A6 behind the LSX vs an A4.
I could not find any examples of the A6 in a Gen1 Camaro either on forums or searching in general or talking to people. So I took the plunge. Life is about adventures right? It is now on the way. I will post some pictures as soon as time permits (promise soon!) as the 6L90 fit up is well on the way, and it does fit, but it is not a walk in the park as I guess most would agree to. It is both tighter and looser than a 4L60/65. And I would also guess there are a few similar projects out there in various stages of completion too.
