Hey folks,
One of my sponsors, Nitto tire, is looking for a car to show at the Winternats in Pomona. I can't make the show as we are still doing some modifications to the Chevelle, so I told them I would find them a nice car to show.
The incentive is a spot at Nitto's booth at the show and a set of free tires. Send me a PM and I will give you the name and number of who to contact.
Larry or Ralph, could you pin this for me maybe?
Thanks!
Kris Horton

I could be in. The nitto tire guys are aware of me as my car is in their calendar burning the hell out of my current kumos (thanks to Johnny of phr). I met allot of the staff at sema.

I’m not sure, there was around 6-8 guys talking to Johnny at the time and he happened to mention my car and the burnout. I of course humbly joined in on the conversation. :lurk: (i've been wanting to use this smilie for a long time)

Too bad, if I had known three days ago I could have made it. The car has NT555RII's that are nice and balled-up from the last track day.

My car will be there in their booth starting the 10th and through the weekend.. my 69. Kris, Jonathan called me last week. We actually had two of our cars from the shop in their booth last race. For anyone who is invited, Nitto does a very good job of taking care of the cars in their booth. They were curtious enough to wipe down my car everyday, cover it at night, and even taped it off. I picked up the car without a scratch on it, and as clean as when I dropped it off. Not to mention they are very nice people, and the Nitto girls are nice too. ;)

You're making me kick myself here man! Nitto girls?!? Curse you! Oh well. Glad to hear they take care of the cars. Not sure how it works for those long shows. Thought I'd have to be there the length of the show...

Nah. Their set up is pretty elaborate with a HUGE overhang, stage, track lighting etc off the side of their big rig. They leave the overhang up the whole week, with the cars underneath. Pretty cool.
