help!! have ls2 crate motor won't fit

have ls-2 crate motor from pace..opened up the crate and was ready to attach the ls2 to the 4l65e and noticed the flywheel has a strange cone shaped devise on it.. so it won't attach to the 4l65e.. what is it and what do I need to do to attach this flywheel from the ls-2 crate from pace to the 4l65e? here's a shot of the flywheel

My guess is balancing equipment or torque tub application.

...Torque tube drive spindle for a Y-Body.

sounds like a splined torque tube for a vette. It should unbolt and leave you with the holes to attach the converter to.
