Has anyone here put C3 (1969-82) Corvette Rear brakes with the Parking brake on a 10 or 12 bolt rear end?

Here is a little bit on it

You would basically be doing a JL8 type conversion. The axle flange bolt pattern is larger than the current one on the axle. The book "Camaro - Untold Secrets" has a good bit of info on this. The book is discontinued, but there is info online about the book and JL8 brakes. The second link shows an alternate way to do it.

Guldstrand sells the brackets for $98 to do the rear setup. Great if you don't need a parking brake.

I called Guldstrand in LA about a month ago, the guy I talked to knew nothing about the brackets. Any possibility of a name, phone number or part number you might be able to share? Thanks, Scott!

Don't hesitate to ask for ****. He's great to talk to and knows all his stuff. The guy I first talked to didn't know what I was talking about but immediately handed the phone to ****.

I think **** has offered these brackets for 30 years! I didn't get a part number. I can tell you more when they get to my house at the end of this week/early next.

I had asked about these a year ago and they didn't know then either. Glad I came back to it.

thanks for clearing this up. PM me when you get them if you would. I would have felt really dumb calling and asking for Asteriskx4! Maybe his "hood" name!
