Hey,
I found a good prank today. On some XP computer systems you can flip the video image upside down. Hold down "CTRL" and "ALT" and hit the down arrow key, then hold the ctrl and alt key and hit the up arrow to put it back.
The great thing is that rebooting (the typical fix for every problem) doesn't fix it.

some keyboards have a sliding switch underneath to switch from QWERTY layout to an alternate...
The worst I heard was to take a screen shot of the desktop, open it in a viewer and maximize it to cover the screen. Any icon you click on will not do anything, it's just a photo! Goes away upon reboot but you can't open the Start menu by clicking on it to reboot.

Did the screen shot on my boss couple of weeks ago. Pretty bad when he is the supervisor for the PC Techs had to call us to come fix his computer.

ALways worked on NT machines though. The floor techs used to laugh about how often people would do it on accident and freak out.

I like todo a print screen of their background with all the icons and file links on it and then make it the new background. Then hide the real icons and file links.
They go to click the links but nothing happens of course.
